Facebook expands Graph Search to include posts and status updates

In a move that will no doubt make its search function more sticky and dependable for ardent users, Facebook has expanded its Graph Search to include posts and status updates.

When Facebook introduced Graph Search last year, the confines were limited to subjects such as, “which of my friends are fans of DJ Armin van Buuren?” or “which of my friends have been to Tuscany?”

Now users can search for “posts by my friends about Tuscany.”

Users can also search for “Posts I commented on” or “my posts from last year.”

“As with other things in Graph Search, you can only see content that has been shared with you, including posts shared publicly by people you are not friends with,” Facebook said.

“This is rolling out slowly to a small group of people who currently have Graph Search and we will continue to improve this experience by listening to feedback.”
