Video firm Next Media Animation has created its own ‘we’re hiring’ video in response to a dance video that has gone viral in which an employee quit.

Marina Shifrin had put together a video, which claims she was still in the office in the wee hours of the morning, set to Kanye West’s song, Gone. Shifrin dances around the office in the video, complete with captions that outline her reasons for packing it in, such as having sacrificed time, energy and relationships for her job.

Shifrin’s video quickly went viral, having attracted more than 10m views on YouTube to date.

Now, Next Media Animation, which makes satirical animated videos based on popular news and entertainment stories, has issued its own video in response to Shifrin’s video. An Interpretive Dance From Next Media Animation Set To Kanye West’s Gone stars employees and even the boss dancing and outlining, in captions, the perks of working at the company, such as a sauna and rooftop pool.

The video states the company hires “based on dance skills” and that employees eat lunches at their desks because there aren’t any restaurants around.

The video ends with the message, “We want to wish Marina well and let everyone know … We’re hiring. We’re HIRING.”
