Facebook is making it easier to revisit some of the older content you’ve shared via the social network with the launch of ‘On This Day’.
The new feature will allow users to go back and view past status updates, photos, posts from friends and other bits and pieces they’ve shared or been tagged in on the current date.
From there, users can share that content with friends or edit posts if they so desire.
“People often look back at old photos and other memories they’ve shared on Facebook, and many have told us that they enjoy products and features that make this easier,” wrote product manager Jonathan Gheller in a blog post.
Visiting the ‘On This Day’ page currently displays a message informing users that the feature is not yet available, but Facebook says it will soon begin rolling out globally on web and mobile.
Last week, Facebook revealed a new addition to its instant messaging service that allows users to transfer cash to each other as easily as they send photos.
Money can now be transferred within Messenger by tapping the ‘$’ icon, which allows users to enter the amount they wish to send. They then tap ‘Pay’ in the top right corner of the window and add their debit card to make the payment.
