Gigglebit: TV’s 5 biggest fools in honour of April Fools’ Day (videos)

1 Apr 2015

Gigglebit is Siliconrepublic’s daily dose of the funny and fantastic in science and tech, to help start your day on a lighter note.

“Better a witty fool than a foolish wit,” playwright William Shakespeare said, and for the day that’s in it, we honour five of TV’s biggest (and funniest) fools, as highlighted in video clips.

There’s Fr Dougal Maguire from Father Ted trying to keep rabbits away from Bishop Len, Trigger from Only Fools and Horses calling Rodney by the name of Dave, Homer Simpson from The Simpsons reacting to a lack of beer and cable, Joey Tribbiani from Friends ‘hiring’ an identical twin, and Michael Kelso from That ’70s Show trying to explain why he’s snooping around a garage.
