Perlico throws down the gauntlet to Eircom with broadband offer

07.01.2009
Vodafone subsidiary Perlico is blowing its trumpet about a broadband offer, which it claims will save consumers up to €153 a year compared to Eircom.

The offer allows customers to buy 1Mbps broadband for €6 a month within a bundle, while at the same time enjoying a free calls allowance to any Irish mobile until 2010.

“Given the current economic climate, there has never been a better time for customers to reduce their home telephone bill, without compromising on service,” said Perlico’s general manager Paul Woods.

Promoting itself as the only service provider in Ireland that publishes its customer service statistics every day on its website, Perlico currently has 200,000 users across Ireland.

You can get 1Mbps broadband for €9 in a bundle from Eircom, which offers broadband speeds of up to 7Mbps.
