9,000 students experiment with online business simulator

More than 9,000 Irish school students have taken part in an online business simulation game that lets them figure out the trials, travails and opportunities that come with running their own business.

Proving that the future may be bright in terms of Irish entrepreneurial acumen, the students came from more than 212 schools across the country.

Businessgame.ie gives the students an opportunity to manage their own virtual business, learning important enterprise lessons along the way. In BusinessGame.ie, this virtual business is a GAA sports store.

This is a free on-line business simulation game for students from the County and City Enterprise Boards and nearly 9,000 students have already played the game in its first year
