Xiam technology to power Qualcomm content service

Irish-based Xiam Technologies has announced it is to supply content discovery and recommendations technology to mobile content specialist Qualcomm.

Qualcomm will utilise the My Personal Offers System (MPOS) technology in its BREW service, which is available to customers in the US. The technology can be used to make highly personalised offers of new content to end users over mobile and internet channels.

It also allows users to rate content and automatically presents top-selling content related to the user’s interests, as well as enabling content bundling.

By enabling discovery and delivery of high-value content, BREW creates opportunities for the wireless industry to enhance consumers’ mobile data experience, said Qualcomm. BREW Signature Solutions offer reduced time to market and lower capital investment for companies providing mobile products and services.
