The Digital Ireland Forum 2011

20 Jul 2011

On 30 September 2011, Ireland’s tech leaders will gather in Dublin to discuss Ireland’s digital future, at an event hosted by Siliconrepublic.com. Keynote speakers will include Lord David Puttnam and Bill Liao, and Minister for Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD will open the event.

It is vital as a country that we put in place the right policies in education and skills, digital infrastructure and social inclusion, if we are to create a sustainable recovery, and the jobs and prosperity that implies.

At The Digital Ireland Forum, our leading keynote speakers will be joined by Ireland’s technology CEOs, who will take part in mediated panel discussions, before an invited audience of C-suite executives and senior policy makers, on the key issues that need to be tackled in Ireland:

  • Digital infrastructure
  • Jobs and skills
  • Education
  • Digital society

EVENT FORMAT

Given our busy C-suite audience, this will be a breakfast forum (8am – 10.30am), with short presentations from each keynote, followed by lively panel discussions with Ireland’s technology CEOs, and opportunities for delegates to put questions to the panel. The audience will include Ireland’s leaders in public and private spheres.
