Course Hub
CourseHub is a free website that provides valuable resources to help students make the right personal choice for their progression into third-level education and ensure an improved experience of the often daunting transition. Our mission is to help reduce the information gap that university applicants in Ireland face and reduce the 15% drop-out rate of first year students that it causes; saving the education sector, the government and the public millions per year.
Gathering, organising and presenting real, honest feedback and reviews from current students and recent graduates; CourseHub is the first resource of its kind in Ireland. It leverages the experiences and inside-knowledge of over 12,000 third-level students to provide course reviews that go beyond the gloss and bias of prospectuses. In addition to reading reviews on courses, prospective students can compare preferred colleges and courses side-by-side; evaluating common factors such as CAO points and class size as well as information unique to CourseHub, such as student satisfaction, ratings of facilities, academic rigour and assessment styles.
CourseHub directly addresses the recent calls from the Hunt Report for a nationwide student survey and corresponding public display of the information gathered.
