Delivering beautiful, usable software for the transport industry, Commutable’s first product was Hit the Road: a multimodal public transport journey planner for Dublin which you can use at http://hittheroad.ie.

Commutable Ltd. was founded by three committed, passionate individuals who identified a problem in transport networks: information discovery. Armed with the skills required to solve this problem Ross Shannon, Eoin Bailey, and Fintan Fairmichael set about building the Commutable platform. Work started in earnest in May 2010 and by June 2010 Hit The Road was launched, the first deployment of the Commutable platform.
