Redeem & Get launches new daily deal product in New York

19 Jun 2012

Irish digital start-up Redeem & Get is targeting business growth in the US and has just highlighted a new product for online daily deal marketers on the eponymous NASDAQ electronic display at 43rd and Broadway in New York.

In New York, Redeem & Get launched Deal Manager Pro to coincide with the f.ounders conference on 16 June. It is describing the new system for online marketing professionals as the ‘Google AdWords certification for daily deals’.

A graduate from the NDRC Launchpad accelerator in Dublin, Redeem & Get is also an Enterprise Ireland high-potential start-up and has been around since 2011. Co-founded by Jade Alison O’Connor, Adrian McMahon and Gene Murphy, it is based at the NDRC in Dublin and offers services for businesses who participate in daily deals online.

Apparently the start-up has already processed more than €1.6m worth of voucher redemptions through its systems.

It also won the Electric Ireland Spark of Genius Award at the Dublin Web Summit in 2011. Redeem & Get was awarded a business support package worth €40,000 along with an investment of €100,000 from ACT Venture Capital at the summit.

The company has developed new software systems for merchants with the aim of helping them better manage and control the influx of customers that each daily deal brings to their sites.

According to CEO Murphy, one of the greatest problems facing merchants that run daily deals is the number of new customers a daily deal can bring to their site.

“It can be overwhelming. Redeem & Get is already enabling merchants to manage all of these new customers,” he said

Speaking about the new system Deal Manager Pro, Murphy said it is aimed at getting marketing professionals into the daily deals space to gain new business by managing merchant deals.

And online marketers can try out the beta version of the product themselves via Redeem & Get.
