F.ounders reveal new event ‘START’ focused only on start-ups

25 Jul 2012

The creators of F.ounders and the Dublin Web Summit have devised a new invite-only event entitled START which links 100 of the world’s leading early stage start-ups with investors and media.

The Web Summit’s latest foray is looking for young companies to invite from around the world that are no more than three years old.

They are starting with nominations from the US, UK, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and Sweden today.

Described as a new way of “crowd-finding” great new start-ups, interested entrepreneurs can apply by filling out this application form.

According to the Dublin Web Summit’s blog: “We felt there was no event in the world that simply connected the founders of the most incredible tech companies in one place.

“There are tremendous events organised by the World Economic Forum, Allen & Co., All Things D and more, but none of these events concentrate simply on the core group of entrepreneurs leading most of the change and innovation in our world.”
