Entrepreneurs Anonymous to host July event for start-ups this evening

31 Jul 2012

The Irish informal networking group Entrepreneurs Anonymous is hosting this month’s free networking event called Last Tuesday for self-starters in Dublin this evening.

The group meet on the last Tuesday of every month in Farrington’s in Temple Bar in Dublin City between 6 and 6.30pm to network for about an hour and hear from others who have experience in starting a new business.

The idea is to get people together – be it those who have just started out, or those who are tinkering with the idea of going down the entrepreneurship route – to mingle with other self-starters, as well as seasoned entrepreneurs.

Tonight’s guest speaker will be Morgan McKeagney, the founder and MD of the web design consultancy iQcontent. McKeagney set up the Dublin-based company just over 10 years ago.

John Muldoon is one of the organisers of the First Tuesday events. He himself is also involved in an early-stage start-up, as he is working on a diagnosis app for the medical profession.

He said that as well as start-ups, and those venturing into the entrepreneurship space, tonight’s event is also open to those who might like to join an existing start-up.
