Social Honey, an Irish technology start-up, has been selected to join nine other start-ups from across the world as part of the Rockstart Web/Mobile Accelerator.
As part of its offering, the fledgling company sources ratings and reviews for web content as well as providing consumer insight based on a combination of user-generated feedback and big data analysis.
In total, the accelerator which will be based in Amsterdam had 512 applicants from 56 different countries but now the Irish group will join other start-ups from countries like TechnoRides from Argentina, Wonderflow from Italy and Bomberbot from Colombia.
This Rockstart Accelerator is an intensive start-up programme that helps entrepreneurs take their companies from early traction to the global market in six months.
It also gives them access to a broad network of international mentors, partners and investors and take part in 30+ workshops on topics like Lean growth strategies, fundraising, sales and legal & finance.
After 100 days the entrepreneurs present their companies to investors, partners, entrepreneurs and industry journalists before taking part in a month-long programme in Silicon Valley to expand their international network.
