11 Jul 2014

Graduate entrepreneurs have less than two weeks to get their applications in for investments of up to €50,000 as part of an Enterprise Ireland Competitive Start Fund designed especially for them.

Successful applicants will access up to €50,000 investment complemented by developmental support.

Candidates have until 23 July to submit an online application and video pitch for funding.

Applications can be submitted by individuals or by teams where there is more than one person driving the proposed business.

In order to be eligible for this competition, at least one member of the founder team must have graduated during the last three years, with a qualification at NFQ level 8 or higher.

Enterprise Ireland will also accept applications where the qualification is achieved in 2014 (so long as exam results confirm successful completion of the course).

This particular Competitive Start Fund is open to applications from a wide range of industries, from software to construction, and from food to engineering.

Further information and guidance on the application process is available on the Competitive Start Fund – Graduate Entrepreneurship website.
