Oneview Healthcare raises €7m in third equity round

15 Dec 2014

Dublin-headquartered patient management software player Oneview Healthcare has raised €7m in a third round of equity funding that brings the total amount of equity raised to €20m since last year.

The funds will be used primarily to facilitate the expansion of sales, marketing and project management resources in the critical North American market.

Oneview has just completed deployment of technology at the high-profile Mission Bay Campus in San Francisco where Oneview software is powering over 850 devices in three hospitals: UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, UCSF Bakar Cancer Hospital and the UCSF Betty Irene Moore Women’s Hospital.

As part of the expansion Oneview has appointed Samir Batra in San Francsico as vice president in charge of Patient Engagement and Walter Groszewski joins in New York as vice president in charge of the North East region.

Laser-focused

In related news Oneview has been selected by Australia’s Epsworth Healthcare to deliver a software system that integrates a hospital’s IT systems onto one high performance technology platform. It provides point-of-care access to those systems across all end user devices, including bedside terminals, TVs, tablets and smartphones.

“As we enter 2015 we are laser-focused on scaling the innovation that we have spent the past six years developing and ensuring that we continue to do all we can to revolutionise patient engagement in our three target markets of the United States, Australia and the Middle East,” Oneview’s CEO James Fitter said.

“We are delighted to welcome Samir and Walter to the company and look forward to adding similar high quality personnel in the New Year,” Fitter said.
