According to Enterprise Ireland’s export results from 2018, its client companies have reached new heights.

Enterprise Ireland announced that clients recorded export sales of €23.8bn in 2018, a 6pc increase on 2017.

The eurozone region saw growth of 7.6pc, while exports to North America increased by 5.5pc.

Despite Brexit uncertainty, exports to the UK were up 4pc. However, the overall dependency of Irish exporters dropped to 33pc.

We spoke to Enterprise Ireland CEO Julie Sinnamon and Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys, TD, at the announcement.
