Circa 500 graduate jobs to come on-stream as pharmaceutical company Almac set to expand.

The Co Armagh pharmaceutical firm Almac has today announced a major expansion, which will see the company pump tens of millions of pounds in its plant at its Craigavon headquarters as part of a five-year plan.

The resulting jobs will centre around research and development for pharmaceutical graduates, while there will be other job opportunities in warehousing and administration.

Almac, which was set up in 2001 and is privately owned, already employs more than 2,000 people in its Northern Ireland, UK and US locations.
