Irish data security firm Baltimore Technologies has formed a strategic alliance with the Asian IT service provider Frontline Solutions to deploy its products and services in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

While Baltimore, once a FTSE 100 favourite, has been struggling with a major restructuring plan as well as a forthcoming trade sale, Singapore Stock Exchange-listed Frontline Technoloigies has garnered major business accolades in the Asia region, such as being listed in the Enterprise 50 Awards, Asiamoney’s Best Newly-Listed Company as well as being voted one of the fastest growing 50 companies in the Singapore 1000/SME 500 Awards.

Frontline is headquartered in Singapore and has operations in Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and China.

Key Baltimore customers in the Asia-Pac region include Hong Kong Post, JETCo and Tradelink in Hong Kong as well as major e-government contracts in Taiwan, Macau and Korea.

Baltimore’s vice president for the Asia-Pac region, Gavin Egan, commented: “With the extensive presence of the Frontline group in the Asia-Pacific region, this partnership will enable more organisations to embrace the high-trust security technology of Baltimore.

“The initial project highlights the synergy in this collaboration, combining our leading e-security technology and the deployment expertise of Frontline Solutions. Leveraging our Singapore base, this partnership further strengthens our existing presence and underpins our commitment to the region,” Egan said.
