Fifty new positions have been created in Chorus NTL’s National Contact Management Centre in Limerick, adding to the current 300 plus staff employed there.
These new call centre jobs at Chorus NTL, owned by UPC, will “support existing staff and help the company further to improve our overall customer service”, said CEO Robert Dunn.
With 11 new staff joining Chorus as customer support agents in November 2009, a further 27 came on board this week with the rest expected to join in summer 2010.
“As a native of Limerick and local minister, it is a welcome move and clearly supports the Government’s smart economy strategy through company’s investment in people and digital technology to advance the Midwest Region and on a national basis,” said Willie O’Dea, TD Minister for Defence.
