Honing in on the clean-tech theme, the 13th NovaUCD ‘Entrepreneurs Live!’ seminar series will kick off on 14 October and attendance is free for all to attend.

Starting from 14 October and running weekly until 11 November, the 13th ‘Entrepreneurs Live!’ seminar series will take place each Wednesday at lunchtime at NovaUCD in UCD’s Belfield campus. This time around, the seminar series will focus on the clean-tech area.

Dr Eddie O’Connor, founder and CEO of Mainstream Renewable Power, will launch the seminar series at the first seminar on 14 October. The other guest speakers in the current series are Dr Peter Daly, co-founder of the Irish networking organisation Cleantech Ireland, who will speak on 21 October; Tom Marren, managing director, Combined Energy Solutions, who will speak on 28 October; and Dr Hugh Henry, director of Innovation and R&D, Bord na Móna, who will speak on 4 November next.

At the last seminar being held on 11 November, a panel, which will include André Fernon, co-founder, SolarPrint, and John Travers, CEO, Alternative Energy Resources, will share its experiences of Enterprise Ireland’s first dedicated clean-tech trade mission to Silicon Valley, which is taking place this week.
