Cork Chamber of Commerce has selected PFH to provide it with a managed ICT service.
The managed services contract is for a period of three years. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal will see PFH manage both server and end-user requirements. All employees in Cork Chamber are now automatically connected with the PFH Network Operations Centre (NOC) where a full helpdesk operation will provide remote assistance and secure connections for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Cork Chamber wanted its servers and PCs to be continuously monitored with antivirus and critical patches applied as needed. The contract ensures that mobile users are also fully protected when travelling as their laptop will ‘report in’ once they go online.
PFH is also providing online backup services for critical data.
Conor Healy, CEO, Cork Chamber, noted the managed service would prevent downtime and enhance productivity within the chamber.
PFH Technology Group is Ireland’s largest privately-owned ICT company and currently employs 160 people in Dublin, Cork and Galway.
