Crowdsourcing site Quotefish.com connects consumers with local trades

7 Oct 2013

A new crowdsourcing site that connects consumers with nearby services, such as builders, babysitters, cleaners and web designers called Quotefish.com has just gone live.

Consumers post their work requirement on Quotefish.com, and local businesses pay a small fee to quote on the work and receive the consumer’s contact details. Once the work is complete, the consumer leaves a rating and review of the business for the next user.

“Builders, tradesmen, web designers, lawyers, accountants, panel beaters, almost anything you can think of is available on Quotefish,” says Simon Chapman, CEO.

“We offer individuals a free and easy way to find quality local businesses – just post your job once on Quotefish, and it will be instantly emailed to any number of local relevant businesses.”

Within a week of launching, Quotefish had more than 100 businesses signed up, and is planning on launching internationally within 12 months.
