Eircom.net has announced the launch of its new Classifieds channel in partnership with Irish online ads site, DoneDeal.ie.
The content partnership enables visitors to the Eircom.net portal direct access to the full suite of buy and sell items available from DoneDeal.ie.
The new Classifieds channel has been fully customised and integrated into the Eircom.net website and is a key part of its Lifestyle content section, which also includes channels for motoring, property, eating out and competitions.
The Eircom.net site attracts more than 1.2m unique monthly visitors.
“The launch of the new Classifieds channel now provides our customers with an enhanced user experience and choice of content that will further empower them to more easily buy and sell things online directly from the Eircom.net portal,” said Lucinda Kelly, programme manager at Eircom.net.
“At the touch of a button, users will now have access to over 100,000 mainly second-hand items that can be bought or sold and can searched by county or across the 119 classified sections, including dedicated sections for animals, farming, electronics, fashion and health, and lost and found.”
This is DoneDeal.ie’s first such content partnership with an ISP.
“We are confident that our presence on the site will attract more users and enable more people to benefit from the online classified advertising service we have been providing to date,” said Fred Karlsson, co-founder of DoneDeal.ie. “We see this initiative with Eircom.net as an important new channel to promote the DoneDeal.ie brand.”
Other content partnerships signed up for the Eircom.net portal to date include a Property channel powered by Daft.ie, Eating Out channel powered by Menupages.ie and an online gift shopping channel powered by Gifts.ie.
