Everybody wants their kids to grow up to be successful and happy – and if they happen to also become stinking rich that would just be a bonus.

However, there’s no doubt that it’s never too soon to instil some entrepreneurial skills in your kids.

Not only does it help give them a sense of independence, but your kid could turn out to be the next Patrick or John Collison of Stripe fame, who sold their first business for the cool sum of $5m when they were just 19 and 17 respectively. Or Ciara Judge and Émer Hickey, who are pursuing their company Germinaid Innovations while at the same time preparing to sit their Leaving Cert.

Any aspiring entrepreneurs out there might get inspiration from the list of 20 Irish success stories we compiled, while parents of aspiring mini entrepreneurs might get some inspiration from the below infographic.

Compiled by the guys over at Pumpic.com, this cute infographic details the eight entrepreneurial skills every parent should teach their kids.
