Ergo expands with 15 new technology jobs

Irish IT company Ergo is bucking the economic trend and is in the process of hiring 15 people to join its software solutions division following a surge in demand for solutions from its Microsoft practice.

Despite the recession, the last six months have seen Ergo win a series of large contracts using Microsoft technology, and the company is forecasting significant growth in this area over the next two years.

The company is holding a recruitment day next Thursday, 4 February, at the St Stephens Green Hotel at 12pm to meet with qualified Microsoft professionals with relevant experience.

“Ergo is closely aligned with Microsoft and works with best-of-breed technologies on cutting-edge projects,” said John Purdy, chief executive officer.

“At a very difficult time for the Irish economy we offer career opportunities that are both challenging and exciting. We need people who can drive business value within our client organisations.”

Purdy puts the company’s continued success down to implementing a suite of software solutions that deliver real value at a time when organisations are focused on managing their cost base and seeing a quick return on investments.

“The Microsoft products epitomise how the right technology, deployed in the right way, can help organisations become more productive without incurring huge costs and complexity,” he said.

Ergo Software Solutions is hosting the recruitment day to target candidates that are qualified and experienced in .NET, SharePoint and Microsoft technologies.
