Christmas shoppers from all 27 European Union countries may now shop for gifts on any of Amazon’s European websites.
Amazon’s services, such as wish lists, express delivery, gift certificates, wrapping and recommendations are all on offer on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de and Amazon.fr.
Amazon has also announced that is now ships its millions of products from more than 20 categories in those three websites to any address within the EU. Besides books, music, CDs and DVDs, visitors to the sites can also shop for toys, shoes, apparel, watches, jewelry, automotive, sporting goods, baby products, electronic products, home and kitchen items, DIY and tools, and software and video games.
Shipped, gift wrapped!
“We’re happy to help customers find the perfect gift for the holiday season – with our great selection of millions of products we have many services in place that help customers discover exactly the gift they are looking for – and have it shipped gift-wrapped to any address in the EU,” said Greg Greeley, Amazon vice-president European Retail, Amazon EU Sàrl.
“Our goal is to offer customers in the EU the convenience of purchasing anything they wish to buy online, benefit from our selection and low prices from any of the European Amazon websites, and have their choice of products delivered quickly.”
