Irish electronic invoicing company OnePosting has opened a new office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Ireland’s Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, TD, announced today while on an Enterprise Ireland trade mission to Canada.
Alan Mc Glinchey (vice-president of sales) has been appointed to lead the growth of OnePosting in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). He will provide direct support as well as drive sales of OnePosting’s e-invoicing solutions.
OnePosting has invested heavily in developing a secure, resilient, affordable and cloud-based electronic invoicing service for businesses.
“The opening of OnePosting’s first office in North America is a significant achievement and a clear demonstration of the company’s growing potential in this market,” Bruton said.
“This move will allow OnePosting to focus on growing and developing sales in the region – ultimately supporting the growth of their business back home in Ireland.
“Through this week’s trade mission and other supports which my department and Enterprise Ireland provide, I am determined to ensure that we can build on successes like this to create the export-based growth and jobs we need,” Bruton added.
Greg Duffy, CEO of OnePosting, said the company’s office in Toronto is the first step towards its expansion into North America.
“It gives us a local presence that will enable us to service this market as well as we do in Ireland,” Duffy said.
To support its local sales presence, OnePosting has appointed Kearns Investment Corporation as its business partner in Canada. This has enabled OnePosting to gain immediate traction in the Canadian market with the announcement of its first Canadian client, Ethoca.
Ethoca is a global collaboration-based technology company serving online merchants and card issuing banks in the fight against e-commerce fraud.
