A Dublin-based software firm has signed a major deal to provide security and ID card management software for use by American troops and UN workers at Baghdad International Airport.

Sabadille Systems’ CardFocus family of products was deployed at Baghdad Airport by Toifor, an organisation supplying services to American troops in Baghdad and Photobadge.com, a US specialist in ID solutions.

The CardFocus family of products developed by Sabadille provides a range of photo identity and visitor management software solutions that are powerful, simple to learn and loaded with additional services that improve the issuance and management of advanced photo identity cards for virtually any size and kind of organisation.

Established in 1997, Sabadille Systems has developed a growing international reputation for producing software products for plastic card issuance and identity management solutions. It has offices on Dublin’s South Circular Road.

The company initially began providing consultancy and business development expertise to the security industry and quickly embarked on a product development path.

“CardFocus is a very suitable choice for the production of identity cards at Baghdad International Airport,” said John Slattery, managing director of Sabadille Systems. “With the functionality available in CardFocus, our authorised reseller Photobadge has been able to effectively harmonise this software into some incredible identity management systems. We are very pleased that these systems have been put to such good use in Iraq.”
