Irish IT security firm Integrity Solutions grew revenue by more than 65pc from €4.6m in 2008 to €7.7m in 2009 despite the challenging economic environment.
The company said it is experiencing huge demand from Irish businesses looking to protect their systems and company data from growing security threats.
The year 2010 is expected to show considerable additional growth in revenue and profit, with managed security services spearheading the increments.
The first two months of the year have already seen 15pc year-on-year revenue growth driven by major new customer wins in the telecoms, financial and entertainment sectors.
In addition to rapidly rising revenues, profitability is also increasing, with Integrity’s cash in bank growing to €1.6m at the end of 2009.
This will be used to fund an ambitious growth plan which will be revealed during 2010.
About Integrity Solutions
Integrity Solutions was established by current managing director, Eoin Goulding, in 2005.
With its headquarters in Dublin and another base in London, Integrity provides a comprehensive security portfolio including security audits, policy design and integration, authentication, regulatory compliance, as well as a full managed security service, including 24x7x365 support.
In 2009, Integrity grew its customer base to more than 190 private and public sector organisations, including four of Ireland’s largest telcos and some major financial institutions.
It also grew its team to more than 20 employees, made up primarily of highly-qualified and experienced technical security specialists. Employee numbers are expected to increase further in 2010.
“With increasingly sophisticated attacks occurring all the time, most Irish organisations have become acutely aware of the damage that can occur,” said Goulding.
“Our proactive and tailored managed solutions protect both internal and external company networks, and ensure confidential assets and data that are never compromised.”
Integrity Solutions’ partners
Integrity Solutions partners with many of the world’s leading security providers and has achieved the highest rates of technical accreditation. Partners include Check Point, Juniper Networks, Blue Coat, Websense, Tufin, Imperva, RSA, Tripwire, Tippingpoint and Cisco IronPort Systems.
“(The year) 2009 was an excellent year for us, despite all the doom and gloom in the marketplace. We continued to invest in our people, services and partnerships, while most of our competitors stood still.
“Our world-class technical team and infrastructure, combined with our can-do approach, meant that we were ideally positioned to capitalise on this opportunity. We are looking forward to an even better year in 2010,” Goulding said.
