7 Jun 2011

One of the UK’s largest high street greeting card and gift companies, Clinton Cards, has selected Irish firm Realex’s payments engine to drive its multi-channel e-commerce strategy.

As part of the deal, Realex will deliver a tailored payments service to the company.

Realex Payments was established in 2000 and now boasts 4,000 global clients, including Virgin Atlantic, GlaxoSmithKline Direct, Chain Reaction Cycles and now Clinton Cards.

Barry Hartog of Clinton Cards commented that it was the “system resilience and partnered approach” of Realex Payments that influenced the company’s decision.

Jon Sheard of Realex Payments added: “Clinton Cards is another great addition to our growing retail portfolio as we continue to demonstrate that our expertise and partnered approach works in this innovative sector.”
