Strencom announces €200,000 broadband contracts

Strencom has announced it has won contracts totalling €200,000 to provide private broadband networks to some of Ireland’s top pharmacy retailers.

The Strencom solutions will centralise communications and customer service platforms for the pharmacy groups and nationwide stores.

By connecting all store locations onto Strencom’s Cloud Connect Private ADSL broadband network, one of Strencom’s customers – Sam McCauley’s – are utilising the service to streamline operational, inventory and marketing activities across the group.

Consolidate infrastructure

Tim Murphy, founder and CEO, Strencom, said: “Like these retail pharmacy chains, many Irish businesses are looking to consolidate their communications infrastructure and enable secure and consistent access to critical applications in multiple retail locations.

“These clients have benefitted from improved customer service, increased efficiencies and productivity, while also reducing the total cost of their network ownership.”

Strencom’s solution has also facilitated the implementation of a group wide EPOS system which enables a real-time view of stock, pricing information and customer records.
