Zynga CIO Debra Chrapaty is leaving the company to take the helm of enterprise cloud storage firm Nirvanix in April as its CEO.

Chrapaty replaces Dru Borden, who will remain at the San Diego-based company as a director and senior vice-president of planning and development, AllThingsD reported.

Chrapaty will also remain executive chairwoman of the board of Nirvanix, which she had joined in November.

Back over at Zynga, executive Dorion Carroll will replace Chrapaty as CIO.

“We thank Debra for her leadership and contributions to Zynga over the past years and wish her luck in her future endeavours,” Zynga COO David Ko said in a statement.

“As one of our Zynga fellows, Dorion has provided direction, leadership and management across numerous technology and products teams at Zynga over the past three years as well as being one of our most senior technology leaders.”

Chrapaty joined Zynga in 2011. She previously worked at Cisco, helping to direct the development of its collaboration platform.
