Diversity of opinions and ideas central to Pramerica ethos (video)

17 Sep 2015

This past weekend saw thousands of jobseekers descend on The Convention Centre Dublin to take part in Ireland’s largest tech recruitment event, Career Zoo. Many of those jobseekers were there to visit the Pramerica stand.

Speaking to Siliconrepublic.com, Mary Howick, VP of Human Resources at Pramerica, touched on a number of areas that are important to Pramerica.

Foremost among these was the issue of diversity – something that is central to Pramerica’s ethos.

Howick spoke about the company’s drive to encourage women into tech, turning to local schools and higher-learning institutions to support young women as they begin to develop their career paths.

Pramerica employs people from more than 35 different countries and seeks a diverse workforce.

Efforts likes these bring a diversity of opinion and a diversity of ideas, said Howick – something Pramerica employees like about working at the company.

Howick also spoke about the skills backgrounds Pramerica values in its employees, and some of the areas for which the company is hiring.

Passions include eating all the cake, watching more TV than is healthy and sassy comebacks.
