Kemp Technologies: where technology and enthusiasm collide

26 Nov 2015

Speaking to Siliconrepublic.com for the Look Inside series, Tom O’Connor, product delivery manager at Kemp Technologies, Limerick, talks about what the company looks for from candidates, and the many perks available to employees.

Kemp Technologies is a software company that develops load balancing solutions to support apps and keep them running and accessible around the clock.

To fill roles in development and quality testing, Kemp looks for people with backgrounds in computer science, software development or electronic engineering.

Of course, there’s more to being suitable for a role than qualifications. At Kemp, says O’Connor, certain personality traits are highly prized. To ensure a good fit, recruiters at the company look for candidates with an interest in tech, who are driven and want to learn, and who are open to teamwork and to others’ ideas.

For the people who tick these boxes, there are a number of avenues for securing employment at the company. In addition to traditional methods, Kemp Technologies also offers intensive work placements to second-and-third-year college students.

According to O’Connor, these work placements can often lead to full-time graduate positions.

But why should someone want to work for Kemp? That’s simple – the benefits.

For details of these benefits, and for more information on working at Kemp Technologies, watch the full interview here:
