The IT solutions company, which specialises in data centres, security and unified communications, also plans to triple its business over the next three years, with it targeting revenues of £60m (€78m).

The company says is expects to fill the positions over the next two years, with the targeted roles including sales, marketing and technical support.

Once up and running, it says it expects its new Reading office to grow to the same size as its Irish business after three years, targeting £30m (€39m) in revenues in Ireland in the same year.

Partnership with Nutanix

The decision to add an additional office in the UK comes following the company’s new agreement with IT solutions company Nutanix to offer its data infrastructure in that market.

Speaking of the announcement, Michael O’Hara, group managing director of DataSolutions, said: “We’ve achieved exponential growth for our vendors in the Irish market over the past few years through a strong, value-based business model and this approach in the UK market will deliver strong results.

“We look forward to enabling resellers to take advantage of the opportunities with this fast-growing technology and bolstering our UK presence with Nutanix.”

Last year, Data Solution’s CIO, Francis O’Haire, spoke to Siliconrepublic.com about the inner workings of the company.

As well as Nutanix, Data Solutions has also signed deals with CommVault, Arista and Supermicro in Ireland.
