Deloitte has announced the appointment of Andrew Brown to the position of director of forensic and dispute services within the financial advisory team. Brown will have responsibity for developing Deloitte’s service offering to clients with concerns over allegations of financial misconduct or fraud, in addition to assisting solicitors and their clients in resolving disputes involving accounting issues. Brown brings over 15 years experience with him to this role, including extensive experience in investigations of fraud and theft which have led to criminal prosecutions and civil actions in Ireland and overseas. He has also given expert accountancy evidence in trials on numerous occasions. Brown joins Deloitte from KPMG, where he was practice leader for forensic services. Prior to this, he worked with KPMG in the UK for 10 years. He holds a BSc from London School of Economics and is a qualified chartered accountant.
