Bernard Geoghegan, Servecentric

Servecentric, an Irish independent data centre, has appointed Bernard Geoghegan as its new chief executive officer. Geoghegan is a co-founder of the company and previously worked as chief technology officer since its establishment in 2002. With almost 20 years of senior managerial experience, Geoghegan has provided technical vision and leadership in a wide range of IT and data centre roles in Ireland, Europe and the US. He has previously worked with Worldport, Xerox, Pioneer Asset Management, Informix Software, Digital Equipment Corporation and Ashton-Tate. His main areas of expertise include strategic planning, product development and operational management. Geoghegan also brings a strong customer focus to his new position and will seek to develop Servecentric’s leading range of co-location and managed service offerings.
