Professor Brian Fynes has been appointed professor of supply chain management at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. In his new role he will be responsible for leading the School’s research programme in supply chain management as well as supervising PhD students. Fynes has published extensively in leading journals and also represents Ireland at the Global Manufacturing Research Group (GMRG). In addition he leads the National Institute of Technology Management team on the Science Foundation Ireland funded Centre for Telecommunications Value-Chain Research. Fynes holds a PhD from the National University of Ireland and was previously a faculty member at London Business School.
