Dave Miller has been appointed head of finance at Sage Ireland with responsibility for all aspects of the financial, accounting, tax and logistics matters for Sage’s business management software and services sales to SMEs in Ireland. Miller comes to Sage following four years providing financial management advice to a number of businesses in the SME sector. Miller was previously financial controller for EMEA and APAC at Iona Technologies. Prior to this role, he held senior management positions with the Smurfit Kappa Group and with Thorn EMI. Miller is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and spent ten years with Ernst & Young in Dublin and in a number of its US offices as a senior audit manager and director of graduate recruitment. He holds a BA in accounting and finance from Dublin City University.
