Emex, Irish risk management and compliance software firm, has appointed David O’Shaughnessy chief operations officer with responsiblity for product strategy, software development and client services. O’Shaughnessy has over 15 years of experience working in software development in the UK and Ireland. He joins the company from Capricorn Ventis, an Irish CRM consultancy, where he was a director and head of software development for seven years. Prior to that he was software development manager with Core Technology, a London-based software and consultancy company, where he worked for six years.
