Qualcom Systems, an Irish IT and data management company, has made David Pettigrew head of data management. He will have overall responsibility for driving Qualcom’s data management strategy and co-ordinating specialist rapid data recovery solutions for customers. Pettigrew joins Qualcom from Network Appliance where he gained specialist expertise in the areas of storage and data management. Before that, he spent 13 years with Cara Group where he worked extensively with Novell and became Ireland’s first NetWare 5 Certified Novell Engineer. He is also one of Ireland’s first VMware Certified Professionals.
