Irish IT services company, Version 1, has appointed Derek Wilson as a director. His role will be to further develop the company’s successful managed services and IT support division – ProWatchTM. His focus will be on ensuring the needs of current and future customers are addressed, including the introduction of new services. He joins Version 1 from Siemens Business Services where he was managing director of the Irish operation for six years. Prior to joining Siemens, he held senior positions with KPMG Consulting and JBA Software. He brings with him extensive experience of successfully delivering IT services to Irish organisations – from consulting through to deployment, operation, support and maintenance.
