Chris Barendregt has taken the role of regional director of the EDS Best ShoreSM Applications Services Solutions Centres in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Based in EDS Ireland, he is responsible for leading and growing the company’s Best Shore Applications Solution Centres in EMEA, currently located in Ireland, Italy, Egypt, The Czech Republic and South Africa. This has more than 90 applications services facilities around the world and covers areas including applications development, applications management and applications outsourcing. Barendregt has been with EDS for four years. He relocated to Ireland from his native New Zealand, where he managed EDS Solutions Centres there.
