Dublin-based firm Endeco Technologies has announced it will create 30 new jobs after it has secured €800,000 in funding.
The company, which was established in 2007, has developed wireless smart energy management controls for the retail sector. It said it will use the funding to grow this business in Ireland and across the globe.
It received the funding from AIB Seed Capital Fund, which is co-managed by Dublin BIC. Additional investments were received from Enterprise Ireland and private investors.
Endeco is already selling its products and says the 30 new jobs will be created by 2012. It is now recruiting for sales and marketing professionals.
The company says its products can save retailers up to a quarter on their energy costs by using wireless sensors and automated control of energy intensive electrical equipment, such as refrigeration, lighting, heating and air conditioning in stores.
