Michael Byrne has been appointed chief executive officer of Ennis Information Age Services (EIAS). Byrne is a member of the Information Society Commission where he chairs the Learning Group and is a director of the Atlantic Technology Corridor. He previously headed the Ennis Information Age Town Project from 1997 to 2001.
