The council of directors of Ireland’s thirteen Institutes of Technology (ITs) have appointed Dr Mary Meaney as chairperson for 2003. Dr Meaney is director of Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown (ITB) in Dublin and is the first woman to lead a sector of Irish Higher Education.
