Up to 40 new technology jobs are to come on stream in Cork at Xanadu Consultancy, the company confirmed this morning. Xanadu has grown from a start-up employing four people in 2011 to 54 people today.

The new roles are primarily in IT with vacancies in software engineering, business analysis, application support, data analytics and system architecture.

Xanadu Consultancy provides software development, operational support and consultancy services, predominantly to companies in the online gaming sector, but with an ever growing remit.

These services include research and development of new software as well as ongoing maintenance and upgrading of current software and hardware systems.

“We feel that this announcement is positive affirmation that Xanadu Consultancy is offering a quality service to the clients it services in a sector with very strong international growth,” said CEO Mark Brosnan.

“We feel that our decision to locate in Cork with access to very talented and dedicated staff has been a big contributing factor to our success to-date.

“We have proven, extensive experience in managing back end software solutions for the online gaming industry. In addition, we have a large in house development team who strive to continually offer new and innovative software solutions,” Brosnan added.
