Joe Lavin has been appointed technical director of Hosting365. He has full responsibility for developing and managing hosting365’s network infrastructure, data centre and hosted services. He oversees all technical operations, customer experience and new product rollouts. Lavin has more than 14 years of experience working in the IT and telecommunications sector. Joe has held senior technical and project management positions in companies such as Intel, Global One Ireland, Lucent and Energis Ireland. Most recently Joe was instrumental in the deployment of Smart Telecom’s national fibre network and its selection and implementation of core voice infrastructure. Lavin holds both a BSc (Information Systems) and an MBA from Trinity College Dublin.
