Professor Petra Ahrweiler has joined the National Institute of Technology Management (NITM) at UCD School of Business as Professor of Innovation and Technology Management. In her new role she will be responsible for the establishment of a research programme on science, technology and innovation policy as well as supervising PhD students. Petra previously worked at the Research Centre Media and Politics, University of Hamburg, where she was vice-head from 2002-2007. Before that she worked as a scientific co-ordinator at the Institute for Science and Technology Studies, University of Bielefeld.
